Women in midlife list health as top priority

According to a survey done in New Zealand, 91% of women ages 45-65 who were surveyed said health was their top priority.

You can read about it here:

Hi Barbara,
As you know I live in New Zealand, where this study was done...and I find that culturally women are different than American women. This study, which was small, (100 women) also suggested that women had no issues with growing older....and this according to Shellenbarger and others is not that way with Yanks....
That said, I do think health is a priorty for women as they age, esp as they get "feedback" from their body that they need to attend to it!

Hey Jenn,

I think you hit the nail on the head with your comment about getting "feedback". Many of us, regardless of age, take health for granted...until we get the (big or little) nudge that says "take care of me!"
